What we Found: Tannya started with traditional orthodontic treatment, but became disenchanted as treatment was not improving her smile. She had an Open bite where the teeth did not touch when closed together.
Her small, unnoticeable teeth that where becoming straighter but not . This is why we recommend seeing a cosmetic dentist prior to ANY treatment. Dr. Ivan can determine if your smile has the same problems Tannya’s did when she undertook time-consuming treatment that would not give the results of an attractive smile.
What we Did: We needed to create more even spaces in her front teeth, so we worked until the spaces were more evenly distributed. Then, a gum lift and beautiful porcelain veneers. This is the right treatment for Tannya to restore the fullness of her smile, the correct proportion in the tooth size and closed her open bite.
The results are phenomenal. Traditional orthodontic treatment, or surgery to correct her underbite would have been unnecessary pain and suffering and would have still left her with undersized teeth. A cosmetic dentist is the right dentist to help Tannya have the smile of her dreams!She looks like the professional person that she is.
What we Found: Several front teeth cracked right off. After emergency treatment and stabilization on her vacation, Sue tentatively reached out to Dr. Ivan after a reecommendation from a friend. Sue had discovered what many others had found out before- unless your dentist spends alot of time rebuilding smiles, you can’t count on the results. Her teeth felt “shaky” when biting her food.
What we Did: Gum Lift, ReShape, Whiten and design A wonderful Smile.
The gum lift is gentle and easy and creates the proportion for shape and size. The All porcelain restorations are natural and strong.
Now, Sue can’t stop smiling and neither can we.
Stela is a tall beautiful woman with kids now, but at one time she was a runway model.
Like many from Eastern Europe, however, she didn’t have the nicest looking smile.
With a lot of unsightly old crowns that didn’t do a good job of covering up the extensive dentistry under them.
So Stela had darkness around the margins of her crowns and small ill-formed teeth.
Stela has a lot of smile too showing a lot of teeth. So we had our challenges to help her achieve a great smile.
We removed all the old dentistry, reconstructed her smile line with a gum lift and gave her new crowns
which were newer and whiter dental restorations that complimented her beauty rather than distracted from it.
What we Found: Look closely at the “before” photos, Sonja looks okay, however, something is off with the position, and the teeth seem grayish in color. We discovered leakage and a bad smell around the new front teeth. Sonja was experiencing some bite problems and pain. This is a good example of how a dentist cannot just put a veneer and a new crown on front teeth without first understanding materials and the correct bite of the patient. There should not be pain or a smell after treatment.
What we did: New beautifully balanced porcelain restorations on her front teeth. We also did a variety of supportive procedures as well, including Gentle Gum and tooth reshapinging to balance and soften the surrounding smile, Composite bonding to lenghten and keep healthy tooth structure.

Simida already had a great smile, but she wanted one that lit up a room. Simida is an interior designer and her eye for art is very descriminating, working with some of the most prominant builders in downtown Chicago. She also knew exactly what she wanted in her smile design, having purchased a smile design book, and bringing many photos to her consultation.
What We Found: Simida had taken a traditional route of orthodontics, but after a year her teeth had drifted and moved. She wanted a more dependable and better results.

Simida was a natural in front of the camera. Normally we get only a handful of photos we like in a shoot. We loved over 75% of her photos! That’s a record.

loves his Aventador, cares about the way he looks, dresses and manicured to the nth degree. But one thing just didn’t fit his image…his smile.
So after Stella his gorgeous wife got a smile makeover to match, he decided it was time his smile matched his impecable image. Every guy would
love to be in his shoes!
and the rehabilitation that was done for her looked absolutely awful. After a few years she started to look
for better solutions when she was referred to me by a colleague to see if I can rescue her smile.
The results turned out great which her bike-riding buddy, Patrick was pleasantly amazed and surprised at how
good we were able to improve her smile. Patrick had small, discolored, chipped and worn teeth. There are
basically three things that will age you dramatically: poor skin, gray hair and aged, worn teeth. Aged and worn
teeth also have a way of looking unhealthy. Patrick is athletic, active and thin and with a young family,
didn’t want to look older than he had to and as a health care professional, he should look healthy and good.
We did a mockup of what he could look like and then placed him with a provisional smile which he loved.
We then simply made veneers for his teeth and gave him a new, great-looking smile that makes him look years
younger and healthier.
He was born with undersized teeth and clearly he needed to have a more profound smile that reflected
his success and confidence. It is always amazing how a new smile will transform and personality, and
Nick was no different. Though he was always a very humble, super nice guy, his new smile made him more
sociable and less hesitant and reserved. His personality just shined more as his smile did too.
So we chose to perform veneer treatment and give him a “wow” smile so he could get the better acting jobs and stand out amongst the crowd.
If you don’t know the power of a great smile, allow me to point out that 7 of the last 8 best actress Oscar winners, all had cosmetic dentistry. Of course they are great actors, but the having a great smile can make all the difference in gaining a coveted role or job. Studies have shown the subconscious positive messages someone with nicer teeth have on others. Things such as approachability, confidence, security, genuineness, honesty, all can be conveyed by the condition of your teeth and appearance of your smile.
As a side note to this, on the golf course most guys find out within a few holes what you do for a living. I have taken to saying that I help people have more confidence, because this is exactly what people ask from me when they want their smiles to look better. What is confidence worth? Especially in the esteem of a young man or woman? What path might someone have taken if they felt more accepted?

Her veneers did not represent what she envisioned for her smile. She wanted a beautifully natural looking smile but instead

What Dr. Ivan found: all too common in orthodontics as well, dentists try to align the upper and lower teeth together to make them look straight. The problem is that Iris has an overbite and by aligning her upper and lower teeth together creates the gumminess.
As with most overbites, it’s not the upper teeth that are the problem, it’s the lower jaw that doesn’t develop far enough forward.
What we did: In creating this full mouth rehabilitation, Dr. Ivan first created the ideal upper teeth to where Iris was very excited about the aesthetics. He then designed her lower teeth to meet this idealized look and voila! An excited and beautiful smile for a beautiful woman!
He felt self-conscious about his irregular smile with his “fangs” and gaps.
We did a combination of small, but effective treatments including bonding and recontouring
to give him a smile that is more contiguous. He is very satisfied and has even done
commercials for Dr. Ivan to thank him for his “mini smile-makeover!” Greg and his wife Sue are now both on our “Wall Of Fame!”
As a former aviation manager, he never had the time to do anything about the terrible popping and clicking in his jaws caused by the stress of work and years of clenching and grinding his teeth.
What We Found: Where are Gary’s teeth when he smiles? Discolored worn out, mishmash of different types and colors of the teeth you can see. A cosmetic dentist will look at Gary as a whole,at the symmentry of Gary’s face, you would notice that the lower one-third of Gary’s face is far shorter than the middle or upper 1/3. His nose-to-chin ratio is very short. There is quite a lot of stress on the TMJ or jaw joints causing them to wear and degrade prematurely and could lead to disabling arthritis in the jaw joints. This explains the terrible jaw noises when opening and closing.
What We Did: Because of Gary’s bite and jaw issues, Full Mouth Rehabilitation was needed that would alleviate the pressure on his TMJ and jaws, improve his bite and give him newer, healthier, more uniform looking teeth as well as showing the teeth when he smiles.
A great side effect enjoyed here is jaws, TMJ and headaches gone anf gary is feeling great.
We are very happy to have helped Gary. It’s been several years and he’s doing great and still racing cars!

What We Found: Shorter, Squarer teeth.
What we Did: Since Ashley had a limited budget we came up with the perfect Mini- Smile Makeover for her. We increased the length of her teeth to a Laser Gum Lift, Reshaping the edges and bulk of the teeth and Bonding at the bottom edges of her teeth. Margarita Smile Transformation Story
Procedure : Neuromuscular
Margarita has worn about one-third of her teeth away – that was quite a lot for this young mother and career person. She had terrible headaches, jaw pain, vertigo, and other symptoms almost daily that adversely affected her life.
What we Found: Margarita’s Front teeth kept breaking, over and over again, and her family dentist kept removing more tooth structure and re-bonding. Her front teeth were skinny and fragile. Margarita felt there had to be a solution. After a thorough examination, we discovered all the teeth were wearing down and chipped, contributing to the continual breakage of the front teeth.
What we Did: Margarita is a “neuromuscular” patient. We needed to get her jaws into the correct alignment and find out where her teeth should be. The proper jaw position is determined using a sophisticated EMG and my monitor equipment to assess her bite. An orthotic device is made to create the right edge and jaw position. The orthotic is sometimes worn for months before any irreversible treatment is performed, but the results are often immediate. Once the jaws are held up, headaches stop or are significantly reduced, and the teeth are no longer chipped and worn down.
In one day, all the teeth were shaped and temped to the correct position, and the orthotic was no longer necessary. Working with the lab, all-porcelain restorations were then try-in, then placed. No more breakage, only a healthy, gorgeous smile.
Cosmetic dentists trained in neuromuscular dentistry make up only a few thousand across the country. Still, we can restore Margarita’s smile and her life to where she is pain-free.
She has been headache-free for over a year now and is so excited about the new smile she asked us to do a second photoshoot!
Faith Smile Transformation Story

This is a very well-educated, beautiful, tall, and overall impressive woman on her way up the corporate ladder. Her smile should match her success and beauty. Faith found us years ago and we did some things that improved her smile over the years, that she was very Satisfied with. As Cheryl approached a milestone birthday, her desire was to have a more youthful and attractive smile that also reflects her success as an entrepreneur. Cheryl’s smile didn’t look bad, it just lacked that “pop!”
What We found: An overall good foundation to start, but teeth that were yellow with edges that were chipped and all over the place, drawing the eye to all the imperfections.
What We did: Whiten and Wow with Veneers! We also did those other supportive services that just make a smile look great. We did gum recontouring, and widened her smile since she had a very narrow dental arch. Now all the imperfections are gone. Instead, you notice Cheryl’s beautiful eyes . Kashif Smile Transformation Story

Kashif felt that his teeth were making him look too young and that he was not getting the position he desired, nor being taken seriously because of how young he looked.
What We found: Missing teeth created large spaces even standard braces could not correct—front teeth with gaps.
What We Did: Because the actual missing teeth were the canines, which are essential teeth because they hold up the corners of the mouth and the smile, the overall strength and design of the solution were critical to the long-term success of treatment. Without a thorough knowledge of function and health, good-looking teeth mean nothing if not healthy and functional.
So as we proceeded to design his new smile, two laboratories refused to take on the case. We placed two zirconia-reinforced bridges and two veneers so that his smile would look continuous and uniform.
The life-changing results: When Kashif got up out of the treatment chair to look into a mirror, it exceeded his expectations. For the first time, the appearance of the teeth was balanced, symmetric and his smile was natural and handsome.
